FOOLSUIT PRESS
Foolsuit Press is a fledgling publishing project started by Claire Donaldson. It's goal is to bring to life any zines, card decks, and games that encourage play and experimentation. Other goals include keeping products handmade, short run, and locally printed.
This project is also an opportunity to connect and collaborate with a wide range of inspiring creators. Currently, many of these projects have been illustrated by Claire Donaldson (an amazing exception being the "Paper Cut Adventurers” book, illustrated by Kels Lund) and mainly serve as the first steps of this project. If you are an artist, writer, or game designer and like any of the projects you see below, feel free to get in touch with foolsuitpress@gmail.com. |
Canned Sardine Playing Cards
$20.00 A deck of 52 playing cards. Each suit is represented by a different flavor of canned sardine, making this deck ideal for a game of Go-Fish! Each component of this deck is printed on an Epson Workforce 845 and cut by hand, which keeps our runs small and minimizes waste. |
Papercut Adventurers
$20.00 A paper doll book with two characters inspired by the knights of tabletop roleplaying games. Each character has three pages of clothing and accessories, and a one page character sheet you can fill in to complete their story. The character art in this book is wonderfully illustrated by artist Kels Lund. Find more of her artwork on her website here: http://kelslund.com |
